VIDEO: Experts consider the Iranian wedding attack a direct hit by a US weapon

Four military weapons experts reviewed images and video from the scene. Three of them said the munition was likely a US weapon, not an errant Iranian air defense missile. Trevor Ball, a former US Army explosive ordnance disposal specialist, said the damage appeared to have been caused by a weapon that detonated upon contact with the roof or just above it.

Gareth Collett, a retired British Army brigadier and explosives engineering specialist, said the evidence pointed to a US 500-pound air-dropped weapon rather than an Iranian air defense missile. The death and injury tolls come from the Balochestan Human Rights Documentation Network and Haalvsh, which document human rights violations. According to their data, wedding guests Kolsoom Mollahi Najhandania (43), Zarkhatoon Taheri (50), and four-year-old Amir Mohammad Karimi were killed.
