Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out more than 449,000 unmanned-systems missions in July 2026, hitting 226,000 Russian targets, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said, according to Ukrinform.
The General Staff published the figures on Facebook. "Throughout July 2026, unmanned systems units carried out 449,000 missions, which is 3% more than in June. As a result, 226,000 enemy targets were hit — an increase of 13%," it said.
The military said the use of ground robotic systems is expanding rapidly. In July, those systems carried out more than 23,700 missions, 41% more than the previous month.
The General Staff said Ukraine continues to maintain an advantage in the use of FPV drones. Ukrainian units carried out 376,000 FPV drone missions in July, up 6% from June, and "the ratio of FPV drone use is 1.6 to 1 in Ukraine's favor," it said.
The Defense Forces are developing unmanned systems primarily to protect the lives and health of military personnel, the military said. "The more missions that can be carried out remotely, the fewer people are exposed to the risk of direct contact with the enemy. We continue to develop these areas, introduce new technological solutions, and scale up existing capabilities," it said.
The General Staff said the results would continue to grow: "More missions, more targets hit, and fewer risks for our people." Ukrinform also reported that Russian personnel losses reached 42,860 in July, the highest monthly figure since January 2025.
