Russian media: E-voting turnout in State Duma elections exceeded 70%
This figure is calculated only among those registered for electronic voting, and therefore cannot be compared with the overall voter turnout.

Nikolai Bulayev, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Russia, announced that voter turnout on the federal remote electronic voting platform had exceeded 70% in the State Duma elections held in Russia from September 18–20, Kommersant reported at noon on September 19.
According to Bulayev, voters registered for electronic voting are actively using this option. He added that the turnout figure would continue to grow as the elections proceed.
The Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission noted that, based on previous campaigns, turnout for electronic voting typically exceeds 90%. The commission previously reported that approximately 84% of Russians prefer to vote in person at polling stations.
Elections for State Duma deputies, along with regional and local election campaigns covering over 2,200 levels, are taking place from September 18–20. By the morning of September 19, the turnout for the State Duma elections in the federal constituency was 30.23%.
The federal platform's figure reflects the percentage of those who voted among those registered for electronic voting, not among all eligible voters. In the 2024 elections, the turnout on the same platform was 89.92%.
