Trump Says Iran Gulf Strikes Helped Isolate Tehran

US President Donald Trump said in a Fox News interview on Sunday night that Iran’s strikes on Gulf states after the war began were “a very good thing” because Tehran lost regional support.
Trump referred to Iranian strikes on Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait. “Everybody was shocked. I was surprised. I thought it was a very good thing because they lost all of the support they had,” Trump said.
Trump pointed to the strikes to support his claim that Iran would have fired a nuclear weapon if it had one. He also reiterated claims that, if he were not president, Iran would have a nuclear weapon and Israel would be destroyed.
“If I weren't president, Israel would be gone. There would be no Israel, and there would probably be no Middle East,” Trump said. He added that either the US or Europe would be next.
Trump also released an AI video on Truth Social that showed a US pilot launching attacks on Iran’s Kharg Island.
