Use nwsTrail news and topics inside ChatGPT, Claude, or any MCP-compatible AI client.

ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT Settings → Connectors → Advanced and enable Developer mode.
  2. 2In the chat composer’s + menu, turn on Developer mode.
  3. 3Click Add sources, then Connect more.
  4. 4Name the connector (for example nwsTrail) and paste the MCP URL above.
  5. 5Ask ChatGPT to use the app — for example: “Show me the latest nwsTrail topics.”

Claude

  1. 1Open Claude → Customize → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. 2Name the connector (for example nwsTrail) and paste the MCP URL above.
  3. 3Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use the app.

The first time you connect, you will be asked to sign in with your nwsTrail account and approve the AI client. After that, the assistant can read topics and articles on your behalf.
