US envoy Jared Kushner and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed on the future course of action in the Gaza conflict during a meeting on Monday, Al-Monitor reported.
The meeting was attended by Donald Trump’s envoy, son-in-law Kushner, and Netanyahu and Israeli security officials. A Peace Council official said the discussion was “long, thorough and very productive.” He said an agreement was reached with Netanyahu on the future course of action in the Gaza conflict, but he did not share details about the content of the agreement.
However, the Jerusalem Post reported that under the agreement, weapons handed over by the terrorist organization during the initial phase of Hamas’s disarmament will be handed over to the ISF, led by US Major General Jasper Jeffers, for destruction, rather than the proposed National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG).
