EU Ambassadors Discuss Russia Sanctions Package
In Brussels, EU ambassadors are working to finalize the details of the 21st sanctions package against Russia.

On Wednesday, July 15, EU ambassadors in Brussels are attempting to work out the details of the 21st sanctions package for Russia. The package was originally meant to be adopted on Monday, but some countries remain unsure about certain proposed measures, including a suggested price cap on Russian oil.
Meanwhile, European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen is in Kyiv to announce new initiatives aimed at integrating defense industries. She stated that Ukraine has built strong military momentum and that “the tide is turning.”
Serbia's president, Aleksander Vucić, is also in Kyiv.
