US President Donald Trump said aboard Air Force One on 27 July that he would ask Vladimir Putin whether Russia is giving Iran satellite images of American bases in the Middle East, European Pravda reported.
Journalists asked Trump to respond to remarks by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that Russia is passing the images to Iran for further attacks on US bases in the region.
"We'll find out if that's true. I'll ask Putin about it. We'll find out," Trump said, according to the report.
Trump added that the alleged assistance from Moscow "hasn't had much impact" because the US has "knocked the hell out of" Iran.
European Pravda said Trump recently stated that he trusts the statements of Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping regarding arms trade with Iran.
The outlet also cited Reuters as reporting that the US is investigating whether Russia may have helped Iran carry out strikes on CIA facilities in the Gulf region, and Bloomberg as saying Russia may have helped Iran replenish its missile arsenal during its truce with the US.
