Climate Crisis Strains Europe Amid Volatility

Europe faces an escalating climate crisis threatening communities, waterways, power facilities and transport flows amid economic and geopolitical volatility, Bloomberg reported.

“Amidst an already volatile economic and geopolitical backdrop, Europe is faced with a new a challenge in the form of an escalating climate crisis,” Bloomberg said.

Hot, dry weather across Europe has put communities under threat from deadly wildfires. “Rivers and critical waterways are also in danger of falling water levels which could also cause disruptions to power facilities and fracture the transportation of coal, fuel, and industrial commodities.”
